law no. 2 “Never put too much trust in friends , learn how to make enemies”
Now how many off you tell your daily shit to your so called bros or besties for girls , whether be it your deepest secrets or shit happening in your family or the things you did so good that you can’t stop talking about
Few days from then you come to know those secrets were no more secrets anymore , now everybody knows your father name (relatable for boys) . LOL
Your friends aren’t the person they show to you
They often agree with you to avoid disagreements and arguments
They hide their unpleasant qualities to not offend you
They laugh extra hard on your jokes
They say you that they love your work
Maybe they do
Most of the times they don’t
On the flip side
They envy you
You discover the true side of your friends when you decide to hire them
when you hire them the qualities they hid from you slowly starts to come up
The hardest part is that you can’t just fire them
while your enemies are an untapped goldmine left to be exploit
“Keep your enemy the closest you can , if possible give them a house in your lawn because they can clean your personality without soap and water” Kabir
Unlike your friends they have something to prove to you and the world
They will try their best to open holes in you that you weren’t able to see for yourself
While your friends are busy thinking about themselves , your enemy is busy to find flaws within you
So who is more useful
Your enemies
never be upset of the presence of your enemies
You are far better off with a declared opponent than not knowing where your enemies lie
The man of power uses his enemies to solidify his reputation and sees the flaws often hid due to ego and self belief
so Robert green suggest
“Never put too much trust in friends , learn how to use enemies“
Fuck honesty , it’s a scam , it breaks relationships
If you don’t have any enemies , make them
Through your actions , not words
“Men are more ready to repay a injury than a benefit , because gratitude is a burden and revenge a pleasure” TACITUS
