What really is gratitude journaling ?

we humans have a very common natural tendency of “dreaming about things we want or lack”
we’re so obsessed with this dreams that we fail to remember
who we truly are ?
where do we belong ?
what are our roots ?
lastly, what are our morals ?
we compare ourselves to individuals who either are working harder or are naturally better than us . with this habit we slowly instill a sin trait of “envy” or “jealousy”. This sense of jealousy helps us to make some popular opinions
“Bro my life sucks”
“I am nothing compared to them”
“I didn’t had the luck like them bro or I would have been greater than them .”
Ahh bro , stop that shit , we all know how much of your so called ‘opinions’ says about you , stop that shit and listen to me
Do you know bro why your life sucks , why aren’t you like them
le bro “ohoho because i am not lucky like them , they got crazy genetics”
No silly obviously not
you suck in life because
you’re lazy as F
you have unrealistic goals and
you’re aren’t grateful to the things you have
Most importantly “you aren’t grateful to your yourself”
not to mention your addictions
But bro think about it , are you grateful towards anything in your life
The journey of self improvement starts by embracing your bads and addressing your goods . Think about a day where you were so happy because your mother cooked your favorite dish and she was able to put a big smile in your face or remember a day when you scored a good grade and you were so happy about it
Aren’t you grateful to your mother for bringing a big smile in your face or aren’t you grateful to your very own self for putting the effort
Now suppose every day after waking up you fetch a piece of paper and write some incidents like this every day for a week
You will notice that your life doesn’t feel like shit anymore , as you will feel happy about your own self
This habit is called “Gratitude journaling”
Theoretically, Gratitude journaling is the practice of regularly writing down things you're thankful for in your life, helping to shift focus towards positivity and appreciation. It typically involves taking a few minutes each day to record specific experiences, people, or things that brought joy or meaning to your day.
so here’s an action plan for you
Take a notebook or open notion and write about 5 things you’re grateful of . It can be your parents, phone , bed anything that provides you value or takes good care of you .
just start and you won’t regret your decision
